What is the secret to success? According to Amy Osmond Cook, CMO, co-founder at Fullcast, and one of Utah Business Leaders of the Year 2024, it is a mix of luck and hard work.

Amy has been putting those principles into practice her entire life. Most recently, as part of a female-investor-led $34 million seed round for Fullcast, a transformative revenue operations company.

“We were deliberate. We were looking for anyone with talent, expertise, and relationships,” Amy said in an interview with Jacqueline Mumford at Utah Business. “We did not need to convince them. They were grateful for the opportunity, and they came right on board.”

Amy says that kind of investor and team member comes from searching outside of “the technology ecosystem proper.”

“Look for talent; look at their potential,” Amy says. “A diverse, successful team will often come naturally. I hope people see what we’ve done here and how amazing our teams are and decide to follow suit.”

Amy is one of 12 honorees selected by the Utah Business editorial team. These individuals represent “the greatest accomplishments of Utah’s business community in 2024.”
