Women entrepreneurs are shaping the future of business, driving economic growth, and breaking barriers in industries worldwide. This International Women’s Day, Fullcast is celebrating the achievements of women in business.

New data reveals just how significant their contributions are, from job creation to funding progress and overall fulfillment in their careers.

  1. Women-Owned Businesses Generate $3.9 Trillion in Revenue

As of 2025, women own more than 13.8 million businesses in the U.S., employing over 10 million workers and contributing $3.9 trillion to the economy. These numbers highlight the growing influence of women-led businesses in creating jobs and driving innovation across industries.

  1. Over One-Third of RevOps Leaders are Women

According to LinkedIn, 36% of RevOps leaders are women. While there is still room for improvement, this is much higher than the 11.8% of general C-suite positions that are held by women

  1. Women-Owned Businesses See Increased Funding Approval

Historically, securing funding has been a challenge for women entrepreneurs, but progress is being made. A study of 53,000 businesses found that 36% of women-owned businesses received funding in 2024, up from 35% in 2023. In contrast, male-owned businesses saw a lower funding approval rate of 29%. There is still progress to be made with venture capitalist funding, where women receive 14% less funding than male founders in general

  1. Women Business Owners Find Greater Fulfillment

Beyond financial success, women entrepreneurs are finding purpose and satisfaction in their careers. A recent survey found that 91% of female business owners feel fulfilled professionally, and 87% feel fulfilled in their personal lives as well. Over the next 10 years, 80% of those polled in the study also expect to see even more women at the helm of businesses.

As more women gain access to funding, leadership opportunities, and resources, their influence will only continue to grow.
