SaaStr Annual 2024 Tackles AI and Go-to-Market Strategies in SaaS

Looking back on the past few days, Saastr Annual 2024 did not disappoint. 

 

“It was an awesome experience exposing up-and-coming SaaS companies to the broader industry,” Celena Ashcar, Fullcast go-to-market advisor, said. “I appreciated the range in hearing from leaders at large-scale SaaS companies to meeting startup founders with cutting-edge ideas.”

On Day Three of Saastr Annual 2024, we wanted to spend the final moments sharing strategies for modernizing GTM with AI. 

Ryan Bott, CSO at Fullcast, quickly tuned into the SaaS trends attendees cared about the most, particularly the need for agility and accountability in Go-to-Market, gaining a better understanding of your customers, and leveraging integration as a service. 

During their Super Braindate on Tuesday, Susan Macomber, sales director at Fullcast, and Amy Cook, CMO, talked about the advantages of aligning sales and marketing teams for more effective GTM strategies. It’s a topic that Susan spent much of her time discussing with attendees. 

“I met a lot of business-driven folks who were trying to learn best practices and stay up to date on the state of the market and new tech,” Susan says, adding that many of the people she spoke with represented very early-stage companies. “This was a fun knowledge-sharing event,” she says.  

Amanda Fletcher, senior sales director at Fullcast, says that Susan’s and Amy’s Super Braindate was timely. “There was a huge focus at SaaStr about collaboration between all the different pieces of the customer lifecycle,” she says. “Marketing, sales, and customer success all need to be in lockstep.”
